Staircase crack due to foundation settlement We recently had a great conversation with Andrew Elkin who writes for the website Habiter Montréal, where we offered our expertise on the matter of foundation settlement problems in Montreal and Quebec.

Andrew wrote a great article subsequently addressing foundation settlement problems and foundation cracks, the combined negative effects of dry spell and clay soil in Montreal as well as financial assistance to people whose houses suffer from these problems, and which is offered through the Stabilization of Residential Building Foundations program.
