This basement in Salaberry-De-Valleyfield has been waterproofed thanks to our WaterGuard interior drain system and our SuperSump sump pump. Once connected, these two products form a highly efficient drainage system that intercepts water from the floor of this basement at the foundation and redirects it away from the foundation of the house. SilverGlow insulation has been added to insulate this space. SilverGlo is an expanded polystyrene insulation infused with graphite. The silver barrier also allows the reflection of heat towards the basement.
This insulation and waterproofing system allow the basement space to block any water infiltration as well as preserve heat, which leads to a reduction in energy consumption costs. This basement is not comfortable and can be finished and used efficiently.
Our customers who lived in Hawkesbury, Qc bought their house several years ago and everything seemed great until their basement had problems of water infiltration and constant humidity. They had every intention of finishing the basement in order to benefit from all the space, but it was impossible with a basement that is not dry.
Our specialist recommended a complete drainage system to protect their entire basement, all the time!
A TripleSafe sump pump was installed in a Pointe-Calumet house in order to evacuate the water away from the house and solve the problem of water infiltration in the basement.
Our TripleSafe sump pump system contains 3 pumps: the first one runs under normal conditions, the second starts if the first one fails or if the flow and volume for example, and the third is a battery powered emergency pump that works if you experience a power outage.
We repaired the basement slab that was sagging at this house in Pierrefonds. Symptoms can be clearly seen in the cracks separating between the top of the interior walls of the basement and floor upstairs. By installing our slab piers, we did not just stabilize the slab, but also we were able to close the existing cracks as you see in these 2 pictures.
We have replaced our customer’s pedestal sump in Greenfield Park with our companies’ SuperSump pump system.
The Pedestal pump does not have any lid that makes the moisture aggravate inside the area, and has also very low capacity.
As for our company’s SuperSump pump, it is very powerful and has an airtight lid to prevent water from evaporating into your basement.
One of our customers in Greenfield Park area needed to change her old sump pump. She contacted us to talk to one of our specialists. We advised her to install the TripleSafe 3 pumps in 1 system. The first pump operates under normal conditions, the second starts when there is a lot of water or in case that the first pump fails, and the third runs on battery power during power breakdown. Three pumps, three times more peace of mind!
An old sump pump is always less powerful and fails to pump out a large amount of water during thaw days. And since our client’s basement was always wet we have replaced his new pump with our company’s sump pump systems.
Our SuperSump pump system evacuates water intercepted away from home and includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement.
An Attic Systems specialist will be able to determine which parts of your attic need to be treated to solve the problems that are affecting the air and the environment of your home.
Our Customer from Saint-Jerome had an old pump that was not sealed and covered, which was a source of moisture that was infecting the air in his house’s basement.
In addition, Mr. Serge has noticed that the sump pump in his basement wasn’t pumping enough water when the water level rises, and this was another main reason why our client wanted to learn about our products, and replace his old sump pump with one of the best pumps available in the market.
We have installed our company’s SuperSump pump that has an exceptional performance and value with a 1/3 HP Zoeller cast iron pump, a built-in alarm to alert when water level rises too high, and a strong, airtight sump cover lid to keep out insects, odors and radon gas.
If you have same problems with your pump such as our client’s, don’t wait to install a new one and contact us for a free inspection!
If you have a well that contains a pipe and a pump, it is not a good sump pump system. A good and efficient system can work under all possible circumstances and contains the following elements:
- A hermetic coating and lid
- A pump that operates under normal conditions
- A second pump that works during heavy rains or storms
- A battery booster pump that works during emergencies when there is a power failure.
We have replaced our client’s old sump pump system with our company’s SmartSump pump since their existing one wasn’t working properly and water was always flooding during heavy rain season!
In addition the old pump does not have an airtight lid and transmits water vapor that is infected with bacteria and mold spores.
We repaired the basement slab that was sagging at this house in Verdun. Symptoms can be clearly seen in the cracks existing throughout the wooden support columns in the crawl space. By installing our slab piers, we stabilized the slab and the sagging floors in the upper house.
Back in 2012 when this client noticed that there was a crack in the brick wall on the outside of his home, he got worried. After contacting us, we sent out specialist Jorge to see what was going on, and just as we thought, it was a foundation problem caused by moving soils.
Outside cracks are a sign that your foundations are damaged and unstable. And this is a problem that should be treated as soon as possible before it worsens. This is why our foreman Petru installed 4 PushPiers: heavy duty galvanized steel pillars that will fix your foundations permanently.
A non-functional sump pump does not help much if your home is sensitive to heavy rain. What is it for if water will seep back inside? That's why we installed our TripleSafe sump pump.
This system contains 3 pumps and works at all times: under normal conditions, during heavy rains, and at the battery when there is a power failure at home. In fact, if you have your home sometimes followed by power outages during rain storms, your pump will stop working and your basement will be flooded again. We are happy to have been able to help this client avoid this headache with the TripleSafe.
This house’s foundation was cracked in several places and the client noticed ground movements in 3 places. In addition, the front foundation was moving away from the other sides.
We have installed 8 PushPiers and fixed the problem permanently.
We have fixed our client’s foundation wall cracks in Pincourt, that had water seeping through those cracks, through injecting our Flexispan, polyutherane and SentrySeal injection.
Our Client’s basement was always dry and mold was growing in this place, affecting badly on the family in Brownsburg-Chatham. When Mr. Jose called us, he told us that his children started having health issues; they were coughing a lot and having headaches most of the times.
After examining this place, our team told him that he cannot leave this place wet and unfinished in fear that his family’s health will get worst and they suggested waterproofing and insulating the entire area in order to keep it dry and healthy. We then installed the WaterGuard Interior Drain on the footing of the foundation to intercept water from the sole, walls and floor, and then we have connected it to our company's SuperSump pump that will evacuate water.
In addition, our team has installed the CleanSpace membrane which blocks water vapor from the walls and redirects water to the WaterGuard indoor drain installed directly below.
