Mr. Allaire has lived in his house in Lorraine for 20 years and intends to stay there for a long time. During long rainy days, his garage got flooded, despite the presence of a sump pump in his garage. He lost several items that he were stored in his garage. He therefore contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec in order to resolve this problem and not relive this nightmare.
Our expert went to the scene to do a free inspection. In fact, the pump he had was not sufficient to drain the water and it was connected to electricity so if there was a power failure his pump would stop working and therefore could not remove the water.
Our solution for Mr. Allaire was the installation of a new system of TripleSafe sump pumps. Our experts removed the old pump, installed our TripleSafe system, and connected the drains to our sump pump system.
Our TripleSafe sump pump system is the most efficient and reliable. It includes 3 pumps which each have their role to play:
- 1st Zoeller®de⅓HP cast iron main pump. Main pump that evacuates the water.
- 2nd Zoeller® ½ HP cast iron pump. It will turn on if the main pump is not sufficient to remove all the water.
- 3rd pump which happens to be an UltraSump durable battery backup system. In case of a power failure, this pump will be 100% functional as it is connected to a battery.
With the Triple Safe solution, Mr. Allaire can have the peace of mind and will no longer see his garage flooded.
Mr. Luc was not aware about the new sump pump systems in the market, and did not know that most pedestal old pumps will not do their job, especially during heavy rain and thaw season.
But when he realized that his basement was getting wet, the place was full of mold, and humidity was high, he started researching and asking about the ways to prevent such disaster every time there was heavy rain outside.
Mr. Luc then called Systèmes Sous-sol Québec’, after being suggested by one his friends who had the same basement issues, and our company was able to solve his problems by waterproofing the place completely.
When our team went to inspect the area, they told Mr. Luc that his old sump pump was causing all of the problems, for it was not powerful enough; and since it doesn’t have any lid, the amount of moisture in the place was increasing, and the air was getting contaminated.
The TripleSafe sump pump was then installed, with triple protection. And if there's a power outage, the TripleSafe system will keep operating, thanks to the UltraSump battery-powered backup pump.
Then the IceGuard and Lawnscape accessories were added, to prevent clogging of the pipes connected to the TripleSafe.
