Following a crack repair in the foundation of her chalet, Ms. Camille was advised to add piles at the corner of the foundation. She had already realized that her basement door opened / closed with difficulty. This is often a sign that the foundation is unstable. She wanted to fix the problem for good and protect her investment.
The suggested solution was 2 PushPier, screw piles. Screw piles are a factory-made steel foundation support system for structures that have been assessed as having fragile support soils. It is a top quality system on the market, designed to perform and is adequately tested in accordance with documented standards and criteria. Screw piles are superior to many other methods of reinforcing the structure of new construction. An installation of CarbonArmor wall braces, above the doorframe, reinforces and stabilizes basement walls using the same technology used by the US Department of Defense Army Corps of Engineers and aerospace engineers to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers and bridges.
