Mr. Daniel from Beloeil, Qc contacted us after having some concerns about his basement.
He has noticed that there was a hole about 30 cm in diameter and there was always water in the hole. When it rains a lot or when the snow melts, the water level rises and humidifies the surroundings, but nothing more.
This hole was there when he bought the house 16 years ago and he wanted to know what it is for and what he needed to do, and if a camera is needed next to the hole since the floor drain was not working properly when there was any flow.
After his call, our team went for a free Inspection and they suggested the installation of a SuperSump pump in the basement.
The SuperSump pump is a very powerful pump that intercepts water where it seeps. Thus, once the hole is blocked and the pump installed, the space in the basement is protected against infiltration because this pump has been connected to the floor drain.

This client contacted us because he felt that the water seeped into his basement through the concrete pores of the floor and other places. To fixthe situation, our system design specialist Jerry recommended the installation of a wall system and a subfloor system to drain the water to a waterproofing system and to block the steam where water infiltrates into the basement space through walls and porous concrete.
