One of the most common water infiltration problems is seepage from the floor.
So when this happens, the water table builds beneath your basement floor, leading to seepage through cracks in the floor and the cove joint.
This was the main problem that was occurring in our client’s house in Bon-Conseil.
Once we got informed about this issue, we went to inspect the area for free, offering our client the best and most cost efficient solutions available in the market.
We have started by installing an interior waterproofing solution consisting of an inside drain that we install on the perimeter of the foundation on the footing.
The WaterGuard Internal Drain contains spacers that line the rear side of the wing and holes below to intercept any seepage through concrete pores, cracks, and wall-to-foot seams.
Then we connected our internal drain to a sump pump system that evacuates the collected water far from home.
The SuperSump sump pump system installs with either a Zoeller hp sump pump, or optionally, a more powerful Zoeller ½ hp sump pump. The third horsepower is able to pump out 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head, while the half horsepower pumps out 3,900 gallons per hour at an 8-foot head.
It has also an optional Battery Backup Pump, for more protection from sump pump power outages or pump failures.
