This client has contacted us because the water situated around his basement exerts a force so powerful that the water seeps through the floor joists and porous concrete.
In order to solve this problem, our specialist recommended the installation of the WaterGuard internal drain which is more efficient than the installation of an external French drain. With the SuperSump Sump Pump System, water is collected and flushed away from your home to keep it dry at all time.
When our client purchased this house, he knew of the existence of the water table. What he didn't know was the problems with this location. Indeed, a house located on a water table can lead to significant water infiltration in the basement. The client wanted to avoid this.
Mr. Savard therefore wanted a solution that would not only collect the infiltrating water, but also eliminate it from his basement. The chosen combination was therefore our WaterGuard and our SuperSump pump system.
Our SuperSump can help keep the basement dry by discharging the internal drain, and lowering the water level in the soil under the slab.

Mr. Savard's house was located on a water table. This can cause serious flooding and heavy water infiltration in spring. This is exactly what the client was going through and he knew he had to protect himself against the next water infiltration. His workspace was in the basement, with valuable equipment, so he couldn't afford any additional damage.
The team that was selected for this project is well aware of the reality that comes with groundwater. We therefore installed a WaterGuard drainage system that leads the infiltrated water to the pump, to then be evacuated outside the house, at a safe distance. To this was added the SuperSump pump which can pump 2200 gallons per hour, silently. So when the water gets into the basement, it will be pumped very efficiently. The customer can now concentrate on his work without worrying about his equipments being damaged.
Mrs. Ofelia who lives in L’Assomption contacted us to tell us about water infiltration in her basement. She has also informed us that she noticed a crack on her basement foundation wall.
If you are like this client and need to use your basement as a living room for your family, water seepage and cracks are not a good thing for your home environment. Cracks and water are signs that you may have foundation problems. Also, it can provoke an increase in humidity, which can aggravate health issues such as asthma, especially for young children.
We sent our specialist Peter a few days later, and he recommended the installation of a complete waterproofing system to keep his basement dry and healthy no matter what.
Consequently, we installed the following products: 71 feet of WaterGuard, CleanSpace membrane, drain tile, LawnScape outlet, IceGuard, and a SuperSump sump pump system. With these products, no more water will even come in and the water will always be redirected far away from his home.

Our client from L’Assomption noticed that his basement floor was sitting on groundwater and the water level inside the ground was higher than outside because of hydrostatic pressure, so he wanted to find a solution for the problem.
This problem causes risk for many homes. That's why you have to deal with this problem if you realize that it concerns you too.
To solve this customer's problem, we sent our specialist Michael Costello to recommend a complete solution that will permanently solve this problem.
Our specialist Mike recommended the installation of the WaterGuard drain over the length of the wall affected by the hydrostatic pressure. The WaterGuard internal drain system contains spacers that line the rear side of the wing and holes below to intercept any seepage through concrete pores, cracks, and wall-to-foot seams.
In addition, the installation of a sump pump system is essential to draw water that seeps into the drain to the outside, far away from home. A sump pump system such as the SumperSump contains several important components other than the pump such as the 100-hole watertight receptacle, an airtight lid, a floor drain in the sump lid, a pump stand and an alarm system.
Now that we have finished the installation, our client is very happy with the results done and doesn’t have to deal with any water infiltration problems again!
