Mrs. Francine, a resident of the city of Mercier, is going to sell her house very soon, but recently discovered cracks in the foundation which is problematic for a house on the market. Our foundation repair specialist Jerry went to do an inspection to analyze the problem in depth to recommend the best repair solution that will be most effective.

Water was seeping into our client’s stairwell in Mercier even though they already had a sump pump system in another basement room that was draining water.
Systèmes Sous-sol Québec helped them fix the problem with an interior waterproofing system.
Our solution was to install an interior foundation drain that catches water from the ground under the stairs and on the walls of the staircase and discharges it through a pipe connected to the sump pump a little further.
Since the bottom of the stairs was where the most water seeped, we installed the WaterGuard Interior Foundation Drain that traps water from the floor and the edges of the stairs.
This solution is very effective and discreet, and once the drain is covered, you will not even see it anymore.
Our work is done, and this place is now completely waterproofed!
