Mont-saint-hilaire, QC Foundation Repair | Waterproofing Contractor

We keep repeating to all our customers, a sump pump should not just sit in a sump pit. We have found that many customers such as Mr. Mario have old sump pump systems that are becoming problematic and we are happy that we are the experts who can eliminate these problems through high-performance systems.

The receptacle, lid, and interior of the sump pump system are as important as the pump itself. The pump should be rested on a support so that sediments entering the water do not end up preventing the pump from operating overtime. In addition, the cover must be watertight to prevent water, moisture, and other objects from coming out or coming in and harming the sump pump.

We have several sump pump systems that vary in functionality, capacity, number of pumps present indoors, and in price. If you experience minor or major seepage, an interior drainage system that intercepts water at its entry point and redirects water to a sump pump system is a solution that addresses the basement problem at its source.

This house in Otterburn Park had lots of signs of foundation settlement.

When Mr. William called us, he was very worried when he started seeing some cracks in his foundation walls, some diagonal cracks along upstairs walls (especially around door and window frames), and also some cracks that were forming along mortar lines in walls and his chimney.

During our inspection, our foreman Peter confirmed those clues, but he informed William that he does not need to worry since, at Systèmes Sous-sol Québec, we have all the solutions that will be implemented in only a few days, and with the minimum cost.

After our client’s confirmation of our quotes, we started the installation.

The installation consisted only of 3 Push Piers that will level the foundation.

As the foundation is raised and leveled, gaps and cracking have disappeared as well as all the other symptoms associated with foundation settling.

There aren’t too many things more frustrating than swarming through a muddy crawl space and finding all of your belongings you’ve stored in your crawl space has become a breeding ground for mold spores.

And that is why our client Claire has realized that she needs to encapsulate her crawl space!

Following our client’s call, we were able to transform this damaged space in Otterburn Park into a dry space whose humidity rate meets the respiratory health standard.

By installing our products from the CleanSpace vapor barrier, to our SmartDrain to provide all the protection you need from leaks and floods, And finally, our SaniDry dehumidifier that eliminates damp, musty odors by drying and filtering air, the crawl space is now more economical, less dirty and usable for storage purposes.

The hydrostatic pressure exerted on the walls of this basement pushed the water inward through the pores of the concrete and the wall-base joints.

If this is happening in your home, the flooding of your basement may proceed at a snail’s pace. But it will proceed, and the longer the soil stays saturated around your home the worse your basement flooding problem will become.

When our client faced those issues in her house in Otterburn Park, she knew that she needed to consult specialists to solve those problems for good!

When we received the call from Mrs. Marie, we went to examine her place, and following that we installed our installed interior drainage system, The ‘WaterGuard’ to capture all water coming from the walls and joints; a SuperSump pump which is linked to our interior drain, and is  able to pump a huge amount of water per hour, it has also an airtight lid on it to prevent water from evaporating out of the sump hole, and an IceGuard outlet to prevent freezing of water coming out from the pipes during wintertime.

When our team went to examine this place in Otterburn Park, they noticed that these house’s foundation and basement walls are built partially below the water table, which was causing cracks in walls, and flood in the basement.

This problem causes a risk for many homes. That's why you have to deal with this problem if you realize that it concerns you too.

So when Mr. Sam contacted us, he was asking for a fast and less costly solution!

We have solved our customer's problem, by installing our amazing products, and solved the problems for good!

Our WaterGuard interior drain was fitted over the length of the wall affected by the hydrostatic pressure. The WaterGuard Internal Drain contains spacers that line the rear side of the wing and holes below to intercept any seepage through concrete pores, cracks, and wall-to-foot seams.

In addition, the installation of a sump pump system was essential to draw water that seeps into the drain to the outside, far away from home. A sump pump system such as the SumperSump contains several important components other than the pump such as the 100-hole watertight receptacle, an airtight lid, a floor drain in the sump lid, a pump stand and an alarm system.

Here is another job perfectly executed by our team in Quebec!

Our Client from Mont-Saint-Hilaire, contacted us to fix a water problem in her basement.

We started our work by inspecting her basement where our specialist took a picture of the crack in length, present in this house and recommended our FlexiSpan solution to seal the crack in the foundation wall.

Furthermore, we have realized that the footing of the foundation was at risk, and we have installed an interior drain, The WaterGuard that will eliminate the risk by capturing water that seeps through the floor and walls.

In addition, a SuperSump sump pump system was installed which is equipped with a solid vessel with holes for receiving water from the ground in order to prevent the pump from clogging.

Our team has successfully waterproofed our client’s house in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, and the homeowner never had to deal with any water inflation problems again.
