Being close to the Lake of Two Mountains, our clients in Oka were hit hardly by the floods in 2019 and their basement was completely flooded. This living space was unusable anymore.
In order to be able to refinish their basement, they looked for a permanent solution that would leave their basement dry, for good, and found our system on the internet.
After understanding their needs and inspecting their basement, our specialist recommended a full perimeter WaterGuard internal drain system to replace the existing and malfunctionning French Drain. The system was adapted by adding a CactusBoard membrane and going around obstacles in the basement such as the immovable heating system that was in place.
Our basement specialist also decided to install 2 of our best sump pump system, the Triplesafe, when usually one should be enough, due to the high risk of being near the lake and having a high water table.
