Mr. Francoeur discovered water under the concrete slab in his basement. He wanted to prevent any future damages related to water infiltration and humidity. So he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc to waterproof his basement.
To solve his problem, our team of experts installed a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a SuperSump sump pump system.
Our client who lives in the city of Sainte-Adèle had an odor and humidity problem in her crawl space. There was no protection which could explain the high humidity level. Being uninsulated with high humidty level created the odor. One day our client decided to call us to change this situation and we went to this lady's residence to assess what could be done.
As a solution, our certified specialist installed our CleanSpace membrane made for crawl spaces. Below it, we had installed a drainage membrane, which redirects the water to the sump pump. In addition we installed a dehumidifier named SandiDry Sedona which controls the humidity level in the crawl space. The SaniDry Sedona is one of the best dehumidifiers on the market, as it removes up to 47 liters of water in your crawl space. It is very energy efficient using only 5.6 amps and is Energy Star. Subsequently, this product was linked to our SmartSump pump for formidable efficiency. This is used to draw water outside the house. Moreover, we have installed a product called the SilverGlow, in order to isolate the crawl space.
So, to sum it up you have a double protection: first a membrane that directs the water towards the pump located under the CleanSpace; then a dehumidifier which withdraws the water from the air and sends it to the pump.
