We have transformed this crawl space in Mascouche into a very beautiful area.

The soil was very wet, mold and insects were growing. So we installed our CleanSpace membrane to insulate the house from the ground and our company’s SmartDrain that intercepts water infiltration caused by plumbing leaks.

The problem

Moisture problems in the crawl space, water infiltration, and a non-functional sump pump.

In addition, there was water on the floor near his sump pump.

Our client wanted to transform her crawl space into a dry place where she could store her belongings.

Solution

For now, our customer has chosen to have a new SuperSump sump pump system installed with a 1/2 HP Zoeller cast iron pump. This removes water from the ground and expels it outside away from the foundation to prevent flooding. We also do recommend a WaterGuard interior drain system to help against water infiltration.

This crawl space in Mascouche was in a very bad condition. The exposed crawl space let a lot of water vapor to enter and humidify the air and the place was full of mold and bacteria which was affecting badly on our client’s health and the whole place as well.

Mrs. Chantal has tried many ways to fix it but moisture never stopped, until she found us and contacted our team asking for our help.

The team installed a CleanSpace membrane which is designed to create an ultra-resistant barrier against moisture, preventing mold growth. This product is guaranteed for 25 years against tear and wear and the liner is a heavy 20-mil-thick material. And is composed of 7 layers of high density polyethylene and is specified by being very durable and affordable.

And in order to intercept water infiltration, we installed the SmartSump pump system that is especially designed for crawl spaces.

 In addition our team has installed a SaniDry dehumidifier, which is the only machine that will get the best results since it is a high- capacity, high-efficency system that takes up to 100 pints of water per day out of your scrawl space air.

Finally, in order to stabilize the foundation, SmartJacks were installed .These pillars help support your beams and they’re made of galvanized steel so they will not rust and oxidize over time.

After the installation, the crawl space looked so bright and clean and our client was very happy with the results.

Bonjour avec la grosse pluie d'aujourd'hui j'ai l'eau de mon puisard qui a presque débordé, j'ai du rajouter une pompe que je suis vite allé acheter, alors que j'en ai déjà 3 de permanente (oui oui 3 qui fonctionne et l'eau monte), dont une mécanique. Je pense que le système n'est donc vraiment pas adéquat et je souhaite donc faire réviser cela et faire des changements afin de ne pas avoir de problème, surtout si on s'absente. Je suis nouveau propriétaire, les anciens ont eu un dégât d'eau en 2016 mais avec le système de 3 pompes ils étaient tranquilles. La maison est situé dans une nappe phréatique ce qui fait que la pompe principale fonctionne très très souvent. Je n'ai pas de sysème de batterie non plus. Je regarde pour faire installer une génératrice Génarac pour prendre le relais. je souhaite donc avoir une évaluation de votre part. merci
