The family that lives in this beautiful mansion in Westmount continually suffered from problems caused by the crawl space under the house. Moisture, cold floors, musty smells and floors that squeak finally pushed the owners to call us in order to encapsulate this space under their house.

Our specialist Peter Romaniuk recommended to install the CleanSpace encapsulation membrane to cut moisture and reduce mold, as well as the wall panels Silverglo to insulate the exposed parts of the foundation wall. The difference is evident in the pictures you see here...

Mr. Dobrin added a garage to his house, but over time he noticed deterioration of the garage walls, several cracks, water infiltration and a slightly curved wall. He had already sealed the cracks in the past, but it didn't work as the wall continued to crack. His neighbor had the same problem as him, so he decided to have his garage wall repaired before the problem got worse.

The solution

Install our carbon fiber and CarbonArmor epoxy tapes. These bands reinforce and stabilize the cracked and arched wall. They are installed in a day and can be hidden with a finishing touch. In fact, we installed our BrightWall wall panels. In addition to hiding the CarbonArmor strips, they insulate the garage and act as a vapor barrier, thus blocking moisture from the walls. They also give a clear appearance to the garage.

Crawlspace encapsulation in Westmount, Quebec

The owners of this beautiful house in Westmount faced several problems at their home. Having a crawl space under the house, the family always felt a damp smell in the house. Floors, very cold in the winter, continually creaked when walked over, and it got worse from year to year. The house needed to be heated continuously, especially in the presence of an earth crawl space.

The owner then sought a specialist in crawl spaces and found our company on the internet. Peter Romaniuk, our specialist, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the crawlspace. The inspection was difficult because the space is very tight, but Peter was able to take pictures and recommend a system that completely matched customer expectations.

Peter recommended the CleanSpace, our patented membrane that is guaranteed for 25 years, to completely seal the crawl space of the earth below and protect the home. Moreover, as the crawlspace walls were very cold and shrugged their heating bills, Peter decided to cover the walls with a thermal insulating membrane, the SilverGlo. This membrane also reflects the rays of heat originating from the heating of the house, inwardly. Finally our team also installed a special SmartDrain to drain the water from plumbing leaks, and which also has an alarm that sounds at the touch of water.

We would like to get an estimate for waterproofing the foundation of our house. There is some moisture in two places on the basement wall. The foundation is made of stone and parts are in concrete. The moisture/seapage is causing some damage to the stone/mortar and possibly some mildew and mould. The exposed parts of the foundation are the front of the house, and a portion of the side of the house (the other walls are shared).

Good afternoon, I have an attached, historical home on a residential street with a back alley. There was an extension built onto the back of the house that appears to have little-to-no significant footing.
