A homeowner in Saint-Michel-Des-Saints, QC, was facing a recurring water problem in their basement. Seeking a lasting fix, they reached out to Systèmes Sous-sol Québec for help. After an initial consultation with our Customer Care Specialist, a System Design Specialist conducted a thorough home inspection to identify the source of the problem and recommend an effective waterproofing solution.

Solution

To permanently address the issue, our production team installed a complete waterproofing system featuring the WaterGuard® sub-floor drainage system, the SuperSump® pump, and the IceGuard® discharge line.

WaterGuard® captures and channels any water seepage along the foundation, directing it to the sump pump system.
The SuperSump®, equipped with a powerful 1/3 HP Zoeller pump and a built-in alarm, efficiently removes water from the basement while providing added protection against rising water levels.
The IceGuard® ensures reliable year-round operation by preventing discharge lines from freezing during the winter months.

Thanks to the seamless installation, the homeowner can now enjoy a dry, worry-free basement — even during the spring thaw. The area under the stairs remains completely dry, restoring full use of the space and providing lasting peace of mind.
