Our client Mr. Frank wanted to keep his entire basement dry. His basement had been finished and he wanted to protect it.

SOLUTION

Our customer chose the product known as the TripleSafe pump which included; 3 pumps (2 electric, 1 battery), 2 alarms and 1 drain. This product guarantees a dry basement, even in the case of water infiltration. Ideal for a client who has had one or more water infiltrations in the past, a client in an area prone to flooding or a client who wants to renovate or complete his basement and who wants to protect his investment. It is strongly suggested that you install a TripleSafe prior to basement renovations.

This pump will typically include one or more IceGuards. The IceGuard helps prevent the water which the pump sends outside the house from freezing. If this discharge is prevented by frozen water, it will return to the pump and break it, thus making it useless. This water will therefore go to your basement.

A Lawnscape is also often used at this water outlet to prevent soil erosion, damage surrounding landscaping and prevent entry of insects. Each of these elements has been specifically created to collect the large amounts of rain during our Quebec springs.

This pedestal pump in Coteau-Du-Lac was getting clogged most of the times, which was preventing the pump from extracting water from the sump pit or sump liner.

Our customer then opted for our SuperSump pump system that has a  CleanPump stand; this patented stand elevates the sump pump intake port to help prevent clogging, which is a common cause of pump burnout.

Here is another wet crawl space but this time it’s in Coteau-Du-Lac, Qc.

Our client was complaining about the damp area and the mold growth that was spreading into his house.

After her call and the place inspection, we recommended him to install a CleanSpace membrane to block water vapor; a TerroBlock insulation system that is specially made for crawl spaces, and finally a SmartSump pump to pump all the water out of the area and reduce the moisture in the place.

We have encapsulated and waterproofed this crawl space in Clarenceville that was undergoing many problems such as heat loss and wasted energy, water infiltration, mold and more.

By installing our CleanSpace Liner to solve the problems of water vapor, our CleanSpace matting to collect water from the crawl space floor and direct it to the SmartDrain, the place is now totally sealed.

We have encapsulated this crawl space in Coteau Du Lac and transformed it from an earthen place with moist air into a dry, clean and bright space that can be used for useful purposes.

This has added more usable space to this home and increased its value.

Now our client uses it to store his seasonal items since the air has become dry and of better quality because the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane contains an antibacterial additive that prevents the formation and proliferation of bacteria and molds and blocks water vapor.

So the air that moves from the crawl space to the upper floors is now healthy.
