We have first sealed the wall cracks with polyurethane and FlexiSpan injection. Then, our team dug a trench all around the perimeter of the walls to install the WaterGuard interior drain that intercepts water from the floor and walls. A TrenchDrain has also been installed to intercept water coming through doors and stairs.

To evacuate the water in the drain, we installed a SuperSump sump pump system combined with an UltraSump booster pump system. So there is no risk that the basement will be flooded during storms that cause power outages because the UltraSump pump will start automatically and the alarm will indicate that this pump is running.

Our client had a water infiltration problem every thaw season. To fix the problem, he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec to resolve his problem for good.

To do this, we installed a WaterGuard system along the perimeter of his basement. This innovative drain makes it possible to evacuate the water that infiltrates the basement without digging externally and without any maintenance. We also installed a sump pump system equipped with a main pump and another that works with a battery.

We have repaired the wall foundation cracks in Laval against water infiltration with our FlexiSpan method. The wall cracks repaired with the FlexiSpan and the polyurethane injection if both injected, are guaranteed against infiltration for 25 years.

Our client complained about a cold and wet crawl space. He felt his floors were very cold and smelled unpleasantly damp. The crawl space was very poorly insulated, cold and humid.

The difficulty our experts faced was isolating an uneven ground. Rigid and inflexible insulation could not have worked there. Our experts installed our 3/4 inch TerraBlock insulation sheets. These sheets are placed on the ground and mold to the ground and allow the crawl space to be isolated. To finalize it,  they coated the TerraBlock with our 20ml thick CleanSpace coating. It is made of a high density polyethylene blend for flexibility and strong strength. The white finish brightens the crawl space and makes it clean.

Thanks to this solution, our client will no longer have cold floors and no foul odor. It will have a dry and clean crawl space!
