Waterproofing a wet basement in Sherbrooke, Qc
Our client Francine who lives in Sherbrooke wanted to fix the water infiltrations and mold problems that were occurring in her basement.
She had consulted an engineer who had recommended her to the installation a french drain and waterproof her basement walls.
We did exactly that and installed a full waterproofing system that solves all these problems while complying with the engineer's recommendations.
So we installed 42 feet of WaterGuard with an inspection port and connected it to a SuperSump and UltraSump. We then covered the affected surface with our Cleanspace vapor-barrier that redirects water towards the drain and stop water vapor from condensation.
After the installation, this basement was completely waterproofed and looked very clean and healthy.
Polyurethane wall injection in a house in Pointes-Aux-Trembles, Montreal!
Polyurethane injection is one of the best ways to repair a crack in your foundation, without having to dig up the foundation wall.
Our team has injected the polyurethane in this basement in Pointe-Aux-Trembles in order to prevent the infiltration of water.
The chemical expansion of the polyurethane (typically 5-10 times its original volume) makes polyurethane very effective at filling voids within the concrete; these voids are typically invisible when you look at the wall and are often associated with the porosity of the concrete.
Permanent solution for moisture and water infiltration in basements in Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec
A homeowner in Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle was dealing with a common problem in many basements: repeated water infiltration combined with high humidity, making the space uncomfortable and raising concerns about the durability of the foundation. Water tended to accumulate, creating an environment that was difficult to use and a cause for concern in the long term. To resolve the situation permanently, our team installed the WaterGuard® system, a discreet interior drainage system placed under the slab that captures water from the walls and floor and redirects it efficiently. This installation was complemented by the SuperSump® sump pump, renowned for its reliability, to remove water from the foundation. The basement is now clean, dry, and fully functional, with lasting protection against moisture and future leaks. This project demonstrates Systèmes Sous-sol Québec's preventive approach and expertise in ensuring healthy and protected spaces over the long term.
