Challenge

In Saint-Prosper, the owner was faced with a crawl space that posed serious challenges for his home. Constant humidity made the space uncomfortable and unsanitary, causing strong musty odors and increasing the risk of mold growth. This situation also attracted pests and gradually weakened the beams and floor joists, jeopardizing the stability of the structure. Beyond the material damage, this humidity also compromised the air quality inside the house, exposing the family to an unhealthy environment and daily anxiety.

Solution

To address these issues, our team implemented a comprehensive and sustainable solution. We installed the CleanSpace® encapsulation system to create a moisture barrier and protect the crawl space. Drainage membrane was also added to effectively redirect water and prevent harmful accumulation. Finally, to ensure permanent air control, we integrated a high-performance SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, capable of maintaining ideal humidity levels and preventing mold growth. Thanks to this combination, the crawl space is now clean, dry, and safe, providing better air quality for the family and long-term structural protection for the home.
