Foundation Repair Photo Album: Foundation Stabilization and Basement Waterproofing in Danville, Quebec
In response to significant structural concerns in a basement within a house in Danville, Quebec, including severe wall cracking and elevated moisture levels, our team implemented a tailored solution (including both our StableLock and WaterGuard systems) to address both foundation integrity and water infiltration.
Signes of Foundation Settlement inside the Basement
The existing foundation wall was showing critical signs of structural stress and water damage.
Preparing a new concrete wall
To alleviate lateral pressure from the compromised wall, a new reinforced concrete wall was poured adjacent to the deteriorated section. This new structure serves as a support and stabilize the affected area.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace Wall
For moisture control, we installed our interior WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement slab. Additionally, we applied the CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier to isolate the basement environment from moisture and humidity.
PowerBrace Beams to Complete the StableLock
To complete the stabilization process, five galvanized PowerBrace beams were installed to support and gradually correct the bowing wall over time.
