The problem

Moisture problems in the crawl space, water infiltration, and a non-functional sump pump.

In addition, there was water on the floor near his sump pump.

Our client wanted to transform her crawl space into a dry place where she could store her belongings.

Solution

For now, our customer has chosen to have a new SuperSump sump pump system installed with a 1/2 HP Zoeller cast iron pump. This removes water from the ground and expels it outside away from the foundation to prevent flooding. We also do recommend a WaterGuard interior drain system to help against water infiltration.

Mr. Côté was dealing with so many problems in his basement. There was mainly water seeping inside and cold air coming in through the walls.

Solution:

• Installation of WaterGuard (interior drainage system) along the perimeter of the foundation.

• Installation of a SuperSump sump pump system.

• Cover the walls with SilverGlo to insulate the basement from the cold.

Mrs. R, a Montreal resident, was having water infiltration problems in her basement, and she needed to get this problem fixed ASAP, and for good, so she could reuse her basement fully, without being worried about any future problems.

Furthermore, her old sump pump wasn’t working properly and water was infiltrating into her basement, inside the wall bricks, and on the floors, and in order to fix this problem, our team has replaced the existing sump pump pit by our SuperSump, which is not only hermetically sealed to prevent humidity from going out but also has an alarm system that sounds if the pump stops working and the water level reaches the top.

In the case of this client, we later added as per the client's request an UltraSump battery backup system, which is a backup system that can discharge about 12,000 gallons on one discharge if the main pump ever stops working in cases such as failure, a circuit break or power outage.
