There are many cities like Saint-Zotique along lakes or streams. Although it is very pleasant during hot summers, it also means that the soils bordering these streams are often full of water. Thus, homes that rest on these floors may be infiltrated with water. This was the case of one of our clients in Saint-Zotique. The water that seeped into his crawl space harmed all this space and the air of the house. To solve this problem, we carried out a project of encapsulation and waterproofing to make this environment waterproof and impermeable. We are pleased to have been able to install our patented CleanSpace (vapor barrier), SmartSump (sump pump system), LawnScape (discharge line) and IceGuard (pipe freeze protection) products. solve this water problem once and for all.

Our customer’s foundation in Lachute was curving, which is a serious problem and sign of failure in the basement foundation walls.

We have solved this problem, by installing PowerBrace galvanized steel beams and several smartJacks.

The beams form a system designed specifically to support the walls of failed foundations and to straighten the walls to their original position over time. Zinc coated, the PowerBrace system resists erosion, reduces abrasion and makes beams non-toxic

As for the SmartJack  Support Pillars , those are steel support systems used to stabilized and level the girders and floor joists in a crawl space.

In Addition they are super strong (support loads of more than 60,000 lbs.), and is the only solution that addresses problem soils.

Our patented system stands out from the others and we are very happy to have had the chance to install it at our customer’s place to solve his problem once and for all!

The sump should have an airtight lid on it to prevent water from evaporating out of the sump hole into the basement, to stop stuff from falling in that can clog the pump or switch, and to quiet the system.

We changed our client’s non hermetic pump in Lachute and replaced it with our TripleSafe sump pump.

This sump pump system provides the ultimate protection against basement leaks and moisture problems.

If your floor is still stone or concrete and you plan to finish it, waterproof it to solve the current problems and avoid those of the future. Before pouring your slab, we can install a CleanSpace dring mat as well as a CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane that eliminates the infiltration of water vapor. This will keep the air dry and your belongings in good condition. The CleanSpace membrane is a 7-layer polyethylene vapor barrier that contains an antibacterial additive that prevents mold from growing on the membrane.
