Problem: The client who lives in Lantier had a French drain which was often blocked, the water was not draining properly and moreover, he had no insulation in the basement.

 Solution: We installed our Waterguard interior drainage system to facilitate drainage to the sump pump. In addition we have added Foamax on the walls with a membrane to help the water drainage towards the WaterGuard.

Problem

Solution

Seal the crack in 2 steps with our FlexiSpan system. Seal the crack with a high viscosity polyurethane polymer. The sealant penetrates deep into the crack to form a flexible and durable seal. Then, to keep your foundation walls looking great, we cover the sealed crack with another light gray polyurethane sealant. This gives the repair a neat and professional appearance. This basement in Salaberry-De-Valleyfield has been waterproofed thanks to our WaterGuard interior drain system and our SuperSump sump pump. Once connected, these two products form a highly efficient drainage system that intercepts water from the floor of this basement at the foundation and redirects it away from the foundation of the house. SilverGlow insulation has been added to insulate this space. SilverGlo is an expanded polystyrene insulation infused with graphite. And since encapsulation will allow the crawl space to be protected at all times, our team encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane which is a membrane that insulates the house from the earth.

 The CleanSpace membrane is specially designed for crawl spaces: it is thick, sturdy, tear-resistant and contains an antibacterial additive.

And finally, we stabilized the foundations with our SmartJacks galvanized steel support beams. These beams support the joists and will be highly resistant to the hostile environment of the crawl space.
