Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Installation of WaterGuard internal drainage system in Trois-Rivières

Challenge

Our client, a resident of Trois-Rivières, contacted us after having problems with water infiltration in his basement following a big rainstorm. While examining the basement, we spotted efflorescence on the floor, meaning there had been repeated water leaks. In addition, there was mold, which is a result of excess humidity and lack of waterproofing. 

Solution

We installed the pipes of our WaterGuard interior drainage system under the basement footing. Next, we set up the SuperSump sump pump.

We connected the sump pump to a system that evacuates the water outside the house. And to prevent flooding in winter when pipes freeze, we installed the IceGuard system in the drain pipes. Finally, we placed the SilverGlo thermal insulation system in the basement to make it warmer, and therefore save the energy consumed.
