When groundwater seeps into a finished basement, water damages the wood, carpet and all organic matter. Redoing the floor or finishing the basement without waterproofing it eliminates the risk that this problem will occur again.
We install the WaterGuard Interior Drain on the footing of the foundation to intercept water from the floor and walls.
The sump pump drain and sump are installed in the soil in a bed of rock that allows water to be directed to the drain and pump. So all the water is captured and directed to the system that will evacuate it.
The SuperSump sump pump system evacuates water outside the house through a discharge pipe.
During the inspection, our specialist recommended the installation of 29 feet of WaterGuard interior drain to intercept water seepage from the ground. This will allow the basement to be finished without being at risk.
Once installed and connected to the pump, the drain is covered with concrete and blends into the decor. It does not appear and does not occupy any place. An inspection port allows the drain to be accessible for cleaning.
The SuperSump allows evacuating the water that infiltrates. It is clean, clear and nothing can fall into it. You can put your goods over without being afraid. The pump can evacuate up to 2650 gallons of water per hour without noise.
In 2016, this family called us to have a quote for the waterproofing of their basement. Later, they decided to suspend the project because they were in the course of other projects. In 2018, they decided to solve the problem once and for all. They remembered our solution and reminded us to continue the project. We were very happy to hear that. We know that our customers trust us and our products when they come back to us and decide to solve their problem.
We were very pleased to install a complete waterproofing solution including our WaterGuard interior drain, our SuperSump sump pump system and the IceGuard and LawnScape system that help keeping water out of the house without clogging the drain line.
