Encapsulation and Moisture Protection for the Crawl Space in Bois-des-Filion, QC

In Bois-des-Filion, moisture rising from the ground and the risk of water accumulation in the crawl space called for a solution to better protect the home against excessive moisture, water infiltration, and the problems that can result. Systèmes Sous-Sol Québec encapsulated the crawl space using the CleanSpace® system, which includes a drainage membrane to direct water toward the pumping system and a vapor barrier to limit moisture rising from the ground. We also installed a SmartSump® sump pump specifically designed for crawl spaces, connected to a discharge line to carry water outside, away from the foundation. Finally, SmartJack® struts were installed to reinforce structural support and help stabilize the floor. This combination of solutions provides better moisture control, manages water drainage, and improves the stability of the structure.
