A wet crawl space is unhealthy since it leads to a range of health and safety problems in your home. These can include mold growth, pest invasions and even rotted floor joists.

The best way to avoid the headaches caused by these problems is to encapsulate the area as we did here in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs.

First we installed the CleanSpace membrane which is an ultra-resistant coating specially made for crawl spaces. Then we installed a SuperSump pump with very high pumping volumes, for freezing line protection we installed our IceGuard accessory, and finally to dry and purify the air, we installed our SaniDry XP air dehumidification system.

Our client was having problems with his wet soil due to infiltration of water at the joints of the wall-soles.

We have waterproofed this house in Sainte-Adele, insulated it and encapsulated it!

Cellars areas are sometimes used by the owners to store several objects and products as is the case of our client in Sainte-Adèle. This family contacted us to isolate their cellar area because infiltration of water and moisture threatened their property. To stop their worries, we recommended insulating the stone walls with our Foamax wall insulation that holds the heat inside. Then we insulated the floor with TerraBlock which is a product specially designed for crawl space floors. We also installed our CleanSpace Drain Mat and Vapor Barrier and SuperSump Sump Pump System to evacuate all intercepted water away from home.

Solution

Installation of a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a SuperSump sump pump system.

Problem: Our client who lives in the city of Sainte-Adèle had an odor and humidity problem in her crawl space. Being uninsulated and having high humidity level created the odor. One day our client decided to call us to change this situation and we went to this lady's residence to assess what could be done.

Solution: Our certified specialist installed our CleanSpace membrane made for crawl spaces all over it. Also, below it, there is a drainage membrane, which redirects water to our SmartSump pump, which draws water out of your home. Moreover, we have installed a product called the SilverGlow, in order to isolate the crawl space.

So to sum it up you will have protection, with a membrane that directs water to the pump located under the CleanSpace, which sends water to the pump and you will have thermal insulation that insulates the crawl space in a very efficient way.

After our intervention, this client never felt an odor and now can enjoy her dry crawl space.
