Mrs. Emannuelle, a client from St-Anicet, was having water infiltration problems that were damaging her entire basement area, even though she had already a pedestal sump pump installed in the basement.
After contacting us, we have recommended the replacement of her old sump pump system with the new SuperSump pump since the old one was not efficient and was letting moisture come inside the house.
The residents of this house in Gatineau suffered from a very high level of humidity, caused by a non-isolated crawl space.
They have also noticed that the floor was sagging which caused them a deep concern.
As you can see in this picture, we have totally encapsulated the crawl space and the foundation.
Mr. Alex S and his wife owned a house in Gatineau and they were having severe water infiltration problems in their basement every year during spring time, due to the failure of the usual French drain and their old sump pump system.
After contacting many companies that failed to fix their problem, our customers decided to call our company for a free inspection. Following that call, our team estimated their basement and had the perfect solution to solve their problem.
Our professionals suggested the installation of a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a TripleSafe sump pump. You can see the difference between the existing pump and the one we installed in the picture above.
Now the homeowners are very happy and relaxed since they did not face anymore leaking problems in their basement again.
Dry air in a crawl space is important for several reasons. The humidity is bad for the respiratory health of people who live in the house because the moist air aggravates the symptoms of asthma and allergies. Dry air offers better air quality and a more comfortable environment.
If you dry the air in the crawl space, the air rises throughout the house and makes it dry. In addition, moist air is expensive to cool. A SaniDry dehumidifier like the one we have installed in this customer allows to dry and lighten the air in the crawl space and therefore throughout the house. Therefore it will cost you less to heat or cool.
The SaniDry dehumidifier is rated EnergyStar.
When you receive instructions from your insurance company to repair your crawl space and you do not really know what a crawl space is and how to isolate it, trust specialists who have been doing this for years with products and solutions that have proven themselves.
Thanks to the insulation and encapsulation system, we were able to transform this damaged space into a dry space whose humidity rate meets the respiratory health standard. The crawl space is now more economical, less dirty and usable for storage purposes.
Products included in this installation are: CleanSpace drainage mat, TerraBlock floor insulation, CleanSpace waterproofing membrane, SilverGlo wall insulation, sump pump, CleanSpace ventilation hatch cover, vacuum access door sanitary EverLast and dehumidifier SaniDry Sedona.
We received the following request from Nathalie in L'Île-Perrot: "I need an estimate of costs for water infiltration in the basement. Cracks are apparent”
So we sent our specialist Mike to perform a complete inspection and submit a quote to this client who wants to solve his problem of infiltration of water in the basement. He recommended the following solution:
Close the cracks by injecting polyurethane, install an interior drain (our WaterGuard drain system) along the perimeter of the basement on the footing of the foundation, connect the drain to a SuperSump sump pump system to drain the water away from the house automatically, cover the wall with the CleanSpace membrane which is a vapor barrier to block water vapor from the wall.
The basement is now dry and will remain so at all times because we have solved the problem at the source.
This crawl space in Ile-Perrot was wet and in a bad condition.
When we install these products together, the water is directed to the sump pump system that evacuates it away from the foundation. In addition, the membrane prevents water vapor from passing through the foundation and humidifying the space.
Mr. Simon in Baie-D’Urfe knew that he needed to waterproof his basement for it was always getting wet, but he kept postponing this issue, until one day his friend, who was our client, told him about our company and informed him that a wet basement is bad for his family’s health, since water moisture gets into the whole house, allowing mold to grow, in addition, critters, water bugs, termites, and other insects thrive on water leakage.
After contacting our company to get an idea about our products, we have informed him that he can get a free inspection. So our specialist Mr. Michel scheduled a meeting with him and after the examination, he suggested a complete waterproofing system.
The system includes a WaterGuard interior drain; the WaterGuard will capture water that infiltrates through the floor and foundation walls; a TripleSafe pump that has 3 pump systems and will adjust automatically to meet pumping requirements; a Discharge line to keep the water out and away from the basement.
Our customers who lived in Hawkesbury, Qc bought their house several years ago and everything seemed great until their basement had problems of water infiltration and constant humidity. They had every intention of finishing the basement in order to benefit from all the space, but it was impossible with a basement that is not dry.
Our specialist recommended a complete drainage system to protect their entire basement, all the time!
Here is one of our jobs in Dorval, where we have changed the open and poorly installed sump with our SuperSump, a closed sump with a cast iron pump.
Pumps on pedestals overheat and usually make more noise since they are installed outside the sump!
This basement located in Candiac, used by our client for pottery work, was suffering from water infiltrations. To fix this situation, we installed our TripleSafe sump pump system so that our client could use her basement without worrying about any potential risk.
Our clients from Sainte-Marthe-Sur-Le-Lac called us after noticing stair-shaped cracks around the exterior brick as well as having an uneven floor.
After their call, our specialists went to the site and gave them a free quote for the best foundation repair and reinforcement solutions.
We have suggested the installation of Steel rods, which are forced through a 1-inch hole in the wall of the basement and are connected to the earth anchor and wall anchor; a WallAnchor which is a discreet wall plate placed inside the wall of your basement and attached to the rod, and a SentrySeal membrane that protects your foundation walls from external moisture and backfilling.
A client from Saint-Anicet had moisture problems in his crawl space. He noticed that some of the joists of his house were sagging slightly and the floor was bouncing under his feet.
Our technicians led by foreman Michel Leclerc proceeded to install 6 SmartJack support pillars.
The SmartJack is a support beam designed by engineers that adjusts to the exact height between the solid base and the support beam at the top. It stabilizes your foundations in the crawl space to secure your home and restore its value.
If you’re trying to figure out how to fix a wet or musty basement, you just need to check our website, take a look into our products, check our client’s reviews and contact us for a free inspection!

The encapsulation of your crawl space is a wise renovation choice for the whole house.
If you feel the walls are cold, the air is humid and you see water seepage, our waterproofing specialists can help you solve these problems.
That's what we did for one of our clients in Brownsburg-Chatam. Our team recommended a complete solution including the following: an interior drain system installed on the footing of the foundation. This system intercepts water in the soil and foundation and redirects water to a sump pump in the SuperSump liner.
We have eliminated the traces of mold thanks to MoldX which is a product that is a neutralizer.
The walls have been coated with the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane, which blocks water vapor and redirects it to the drain.
Finally, to keep the humidity level at 55% or lower, we have installed our SaniDry CX dehumidifier and air purifier that keeps the air dry and the environment healthy.
This space can now be conveniently and safely used. We are happy to have been able to carry out this project!
Our client from Brownsburg noticed that the walls of his foundation were bending inward, and knew that he needed to fix this problem immediately before it gets worse!
After contacting us, our specialist inspected the basement and recommended the installation of the best products that could repair this problem permanently.
Furthermore, we installed several PowerBrace support beams to stabilize the foundation walls and an ArmLock fasteners system that attaches CarbonArmor carbon fiber strips to the joist.
Our team of professionals went to a homeowner in Montreal's Verdun neighborhood to inspect his place.
The joists of the floor of the residence began to collapse, because moisture from the ground attacked them. Our team has then advised the installation of support pillars in order to stabilize the house.
Following the installation, the owner was very satisfied with the work done by our experienced technicians.
Mrs. Chan had water infiltration problems in her basement, due to the hydrostatic water pressure under her basement’s slab.
Our team has installed our WaterGuard system in order to collect any water leaking at the foundation wall joints and drained this water to an installed SuperSump sump pump, the best sump pump in Quebec.
Once the Waterguard was installed in the basement, we have layered cement on top and smoothed it for a nice final look.
We have repaired this house’s foundation in Wentworth, and stabilized it to resist ground movement by installing 7 support pillars Pushpiers
The PushPier pillar is a patented product and it features an outer sleeve that reinforces the pillar device directly under the support which is the most critical place.
It strengthens this area and prevents twisting, distortion and rotation that are commonly observed in other support pillar devices.
After having water seeping into his basement our clients contacted our company for a free consultation.
As you can see in the pictures, this was the old sump pump used that was not working well.
In the second picture, you can see that our company has replaced the old sump pump with the Super Sump Pump.
This sump is completely closed and does not let out moisture, drains water under the slab with its 100 holes, has an alarm that sounds in an emergency and can be added a battery backup pump.
As a result, our client's basement was totally dry and he could benefit properly from the area.
The WaterGuard Drain is specifically designed to be placed above the base on a bed of rocks, slowing down the flow of water and preventing the drain from clogging. In addition, it is important that it contains a 3/8 inch built-in space between the floor and the wall to drain infiltrations from the wall. Spacers visible along the wall allow water to be collected in the drain while blocking dirt and debris. Once covered with concrete, the drain merges into the decor without damaging the structure of the foundation. In order to perform system checks, we also install an inspection port that allows access to the drain and ensures its smooth operation over the years. The WaterGuard drain is the new technology in drainage and its effectiveness is proven!
A customer from Sainte-Rose contacted us to talk about his concern about the crawl space ceiling of her small commercial building. This one seemed to lack support because we saw a start of wedging between 2 piers of bricks in this cellar of service. To solve this problem, a simple solution was offered to him. Our specialist recommended the installation of SmartJacks support pillars and three PowerBrace steel support beams. These products are specially designed to reinforce the foundation and ceiling of a crawl space. Thus, this system stabilizes the crawl space, gain back the floors to their original position, transfers the weight
The residents of this house in SouthWest Montreal suffered from a very high level of humidity, caused by a non-isolated crawl space. In addition, they were concerned about a few sagging beams and the lack of inadequate support under these beams, which caused a subsidence at the top floor.
We made a complete repair of this house’s Crawl Space as you can see in this picture.
Our customer who lives in SouthWest, Montreal continually suffered from problems caused by the crawl space under the house.
Moisture, cold floors, musty smells, and floors that squeak finally pushed the owners to call us in order to encapsulate this space under her house.
Our specialist recommended installing the CleanSpace encapsulation membrane to cut moisture and reduce mold, as well as the wall panels Silverglo to insulate the exposed parts of the foundation wall. The difference is evident in the pictures you see here...
We have encapsulated our client’s Crawl Space in Pointe st Charles Montreal.
You can see the big difference in this picture the Crawl Space is much cleaner and brighter and can be used now as an extra storage space.
Brick blocks and columns do not provide effective and permanent support for the crawl space, as they will move according to the weak ground motions.
So we must put pillars that support the house on stronger soil.
We have stabilized this crawl space in Longueuil by adapting one of our simple solutions from which SmartJack pillars and galvanized steel PowerBrace beams that will lift the foundation to their original position immediately.
Our customer from Saint-Colomban was so happy that we have turned his basement from a damp area into a livable place that his entire family can use as a living space and as a storage place as well.
We have used one of the best waterproofing products available in the market:
We started by installing our interior drain system: ‘The WaterGuard’. This interior drain will direct all the water seeping into the sump pump.
And since damp basement conditions can easily ruin certain flooring materials –like plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and carpeting installed directly over a basement slab floor, we have installed basement flooring that couldn’t ever be damaged by mold or moisture’ The ThermalDry floor tiles’.
This client contacted us the first time in 2013 to request a bid to waterproof his basement which was under water infiltration. Having decided that he was in no hurry to carry out the work, he dropped the project, but contacted us again in 2019 to resume the project, as the problems worsened.
Our team has installed a WaterGuard interior drain perimeter that intercepts water that seeps into the foundation, floor and walls. This internal drain is connected to a sump pump system to evacuate water away from home.
Once the drain installed around the foundation, our team covered the walls with the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane that blocks the water vapor so that it does not wick the space. This membrane also redirects the infiltrations of water if there are some towards the drain. The vapor barrier prevents mold and bloom from appearing and proliferating.
When the wall begins to tilt in the middle, but have not yet begun to slide inward at the base or tilt inward at the top, Carbon Fiber strips are the best solutions.
This was our client’s problem that lives in Morin-Heights.
When the tapes are installed, the resistance that the carbon fiber tapes exert makes it possible to prevent the wall from flexing again.
Does your sump pump have a cover? If not, it is highly likely that your pit is getting dirt and other contaminants in it, which can lead to clogs that will cause it to slow down or stop eventually.
This was the case of our client Mr. Roger who lives in Saint-Jerome, and contacted us in order to replace his sump with one of the best sump pump in the market ‘the TripleSafe’.
This sump pump system provides the ultimate protection against basement leaks and moisture problems.
It has three pumps which will respond to the most prevalent problems that a homeowner could experience when their waterproofing systems fail!
