Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This crawl space in Montreal East was very wet and clearly had moisture and mold odors on the surface due to water infiltrations. We went to inspect this place and noticed the high level of humidity in it. Consequently, we installed a complete crawl space encapsulation and insulation system to insulate the house from the soil.

SilverGlo insulation panels are panels that preserve the warmth of foundation walls and reflect it inward.

The CleanSpace membrane blocks moisture and contains an antibacterial that prevents mold growth.

The SmartDrain collects water from the ground.

Finally, we installed the SaniDry Sedona, which is a very powerful dehumidifier that dries the crawl space air and that redirects it in the crawl space to dry materials. It collects water from the air and lowers the moisture content to an acceptable and recommended level (50-55%).

The owner of a house in Lemoyne contacted us because his basement needed repairs. His basement suffered from water infiltration from the walls and the floors. Our solution consisted of the installation of an interior drain system and a sump pump. In order to give the basement a better appearance, we installed EverLast finished walls. These walls are waterproof and include a stylized molding.

After the inspection, we recommended the installation of the WaterGuard interior drain system. So when the water that seeps in at the joint is captured by the holes under the drain and by the gaps that allow the water in the walls to go down the drain.

In addition, we recommended the installation of a sump pump system such as the TripleSafe sump pump system to keep her basement dry with triple the protection.

Finally, by installing a CleanSpace membrane, water vapor will stop from flowing up to the soil, and into the entire house. Hence moisture will be reduced and the place will be dry again.

Our client Francine who lives in Sherbrooke wanted to fix the water infiltrations and mold problems that were occurring in her basement.

She had consulted an engineer who had recommended her to the installation a french drain and waterproof her basement walls.

We did exactly that and installed a full waterproofing system that solves all these problems while complying with the engineer's recommendations.

So we installed 42 feet of WaterGuard with an inspection port and connected it to a SuperSump and UltraSump. We then covered the affected surface with our Cleanspace vapor-barrier that redirects water towards the drain and stop water vapor from condensation.

After the installation, this basement was completely waterproofed and looked very clean and healthy.
