In the before photo, you'll notice the challenge we faced: A damp crawl space in Cookshire-Eaton, QC, that made a homeowner reach out to us. We installed CleanSpace, an innovative barrier that locks out moisture, include a drainage matting, as well as a vapor barrier. Together, these products transformed the crawl space into a dry, healthier part of the home. In Sawyerville, Quebec, a homeowner faced the challenge of dealing with rotting joists caused by excessive moisture in the crawl space. As you can see in the before photo, the damage was evident, and the need for a solution was pressing. We addressed this issue by installing our CleanSpace Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and SilverGlo Pannels. To permanently resolve the situation, three complementary solutions were implemented: a drainage membrane to manage water at the base, followed by the installation of the CleanSpace vapor barrier to block moisture and sanitize the space, and then the addition of SilverGlo insulation panels on the walls, a rigid insulation offering an R-value of 11, low thermal conductivity, and a reflective surface that reflects heat back into the interior; Today, the crawl space is dry, clean, and better insulated, contributing to greater comfort and improved energy efficiency throughout the home.
